We wanted to share the wonderful experience we had at the HomeAway Summit 2016 in Seattle. It was a humbling experience and we were excited to meet, talk and share with almost 700 owners and property managers.
For those of you who might not be aware, every year HomeAway host Summits across several cities in the United States.
Owners and properties managers from all over have the opportunity to meet and talk with HomeAway employees from many disciplines such as Product, Product Marketing, User Experience, Research, Government Relations and our Social/Community team.
Attendees participate in various sessions that cover topics such as how to maximize your bookings or learning how to use social media. Not to mention, “sneak peeks” of new features. Curious where we were in 2016? Take a look here.
The Summit ended with a final live streamed Q&A session with John Kim, President of HomeAway, and multiple product team representatives answering the questions submitted by our owners and property managers, as well as taking live questions from the audience.
Our hope is that all 700 owners and property managers who attended the Seattle Summit, as well as the hundreds who attended our other Summits in Orlando and Austin, all walked away with a better understanding of how HomeAway plans to meet their expectations and build a better product, drive bookings and grow our marketplace so they can be successful.
We are looking forward to 2017 and meeting as many of you as possible at one of our future HomeAway Summits. Stay tuned! We'll be announcing early next year the locations for HomeAway Summit 2017.
