The recent Northern California wildfires were the most destructive in the state’s history. Over 8,500 structures were destroyed, of which approximately 6,530 were residential. Our hearts are with all those that continue to be impacted by the wildfires.
HomeAway is working with the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services to assist in finding temporary housing for individuals and families who have been displaced by wildfires. We are looking for homeowners willing to rent their properties in and around the impacted area for a minimum of 30 days at a fair market value rate.
We are looking for homeowners with available properties in the following California counties: Mendocino, Lake, Napa, Sonoma, Butte, Yuba, Nevada, Humboldt, Trinity, Tehama, Glenn, Colusa, Sacramento, Yolo, Solano, Contra Costa, Marin, Sierra, Plumas, Sutter, Placer.
If you are interested in participating in this program please complete the form below:
Your local county will contact you if they identify a suitable renter for your property. Homeowners will then have the opportunity to review the proposed fair market rate as well as renter information before agreeing to the proposed arrangement.
